Videovium.com → Shirin Neshat’s Soliloquy (West)

Soliloquy (1999) is a short film by Iranian-born artist Shirin Neshat which explores the differences between East and West, the splitting of the self, and notions of home and exile. The film consists of two projections which are viewed simultaneously – this is the Western part, filmed in Albany, New York. For the full effect, have the Eastern part (http://www.videovium.com/2011/08/11/shirin-neshats-soliloquy-east) playing in another window (start both parts at the same time).
